Directions
  1. Open thesethe tabssurvey on Qualtrics.
  2. DoNavigate thisto Data and export the survey data to Excel. Download "choice text."
  3. DownloadSave thisthe herefile in the project's folder on Box.
  4. Open the file.
  5. Check the first few rows [] and savedelete any entries (entire rows) that came from Survey Preview.
  6. Confirm that each column has a short descriptive name in the second row. If any are missing or unclear, create them based on the column's question (found in row 1).
  7. Add a column at the beginning of the spreadsheet called "Document name". In the first row, create a name that includes the project, "survey", and ending in 001.
  8. 》example: project-survey-001
  9. Fill the series down the column until every entry has a document name.
  10. Delete the [#] columns.
  11. Qualtrics often saves numbers as heretext.

    Convert the format to "number."
  12. Survey data is prepped when:when _______each row has a Document Name, each column has a descriptive name, and number data is formatted correctly.
