It's important to ask the client if they think sending an announcement and a reminder will be observing workspaces by collecting occupancy and behavioral data on her phone.useful.

  • DORIS will never report back on a single individual’s behavior. We observe;
    how many people are in each location (conference rooms, workstations, breakrooms), 
  • the tools/tech in use (whiteboard, laptop, etc.),
  • and what activity (in a meeting, focusing, talking on the phone, eating).

A really important detail about the usability study is that DORIS will never report back on a single individual's behavior. DORIS combines all the data to see a high-level view of utilization and what activities are happening in the space. 

What should you do?

  • Carry on as usual, there’s no need to time your break or change your behavior.
