Views: Normal vs. Preview

Preview mode in Adobe InDesign displays a document as it will appear after exporting, hiding non-printing elements and frames. To toggle between Normal View and Preview View, you can:

• Press the W key on your keyboard (as long as the Type Tool is not active)
  
• Use the View Mode Tool at the bottom of the left-hand toolbar

You can also preview your document in Presentation mode, which hides the InDesign interface and fills the entire screen with the document. This mode is useful for presenting design ideas to clients.
