Layer 5: Data Points/Shapes

Use this layer after the study has been completely set up in Vantage Space to add the point numbers.

Directions
  1. Download the floorplan with data points from Vantage Space. (View instructions on Scribe.)
    1. Navigate to https://www.vantagespace.com/ 
    2. Click "My Account" and log in with doris@dorisresearch.com
    3. Select the project in the Organization drop-down.
    4. If the study is in progress, select "Live Studies". If data collection is complete,
      select "Completed Studies."
    5. Click "View Progress"
    6. Click "WORKSPACES"
    7. Find the building and floor you are drawing in the dropdown. Click the checkbox next to Show IDs to display the data points.
    8. Click the cloud icon to download the PDF.
    9. Click "EXPORTS"
    10. Locate the file you just exported and click "Download."
    11. Open the PDF so you can view it alongside the InDesign window
  2. Set the default Graphic Frame style to "Gray box."
  3. Use the Rectangle tool to draw a shape that fills the space represented by each data point in the InDesign version of the floor plan.

The data points from Vantage Space dictate how we analyze the usability data. For our documentation to be accurate, the points in InDesign must match.
