Conduct Solution Analysis Strategy Meeting

Purpose

This meeting initiates the analysis/synthesis part of the DORIS process The purpose of the meeting is to define:

  1. Timeline: How long, and how many hours we have to complete analysis.
  2. Roles: Who will do what portions of the analysis.
  3. Next Steps - Schedule the Synthesis Meeting, which solidifies the deadline for completing individual analysis.

  • This meeting can be scheduled as soon as data collection has ended or is about to end.
Directions
    1. The Ops Manager opens the Project Charter for the project and navigates to the Analysis/Synthesis section asking questions about the A/S process. Ops team members answer the questions, discussing the best methods considering any relevant information. (i.e. Overall project load, timelines, schedules/travel/PTO, etc)
    2. The Ops Manager transcribes the chosen methods, established timeline, and data/role delegation into the Project Charter document.
    3. The Ops Manager schedules the Synthesis Meeting, while everyone is there to confirm calendars.
    4. At the end of the meeting, all team members are clear on their next steps and deadline for analysis.

    Questions to answer in this meeting:

      • When does analysis need to be done? (Analysis ends at the start of the Synthesis Meeting)
      • How much time should be spent? (Considering hours left, general project load, priorities, availability, etc)
      • Who is doing what? (Even for small data sets, it important to get 2 sets of eyes on any given set)
      • Which methods/tools will be used? (Maxqda, Sheets, Mural, etc)
