01 Project Launch (sent from Client Leadership)

Before DORIS sends any communication directly to participants, a client leader should announce the project internally. Championing their participation at a high level increases the likelihood of engagement and a successful project.

  • The timing and delivery of this information may be discussed during the sales process, in liaison meetings, or during Project Alignment.
  • The DORIS team member who is closest to the conversation should send template language to the liaison or executive contact.
  • This message should go out two weeks before Kickoff Meetings begin or as soon as possible.

Justification for Client LT Sending Initial Email

Justification for having leaders champion and announce the project
Alignment and Clarity: Communicating the initiative ensures that all employees are on the same page regarding goals, strategies, and expectations. It prevents confusion and misinterpretation that can arise when information is not disseminated uniformly.

Engagement and Buy-In: By involving all participants from the outset, executives can foster a sense of ownership and inclusion. When employees feel that their input and participation matter, they are more likely to be engaged and committed to the initiative's success.

Accountability: When executives make a public announcement, it establishes a level of accountability for the project's success. Employees are more likely to take their roles and responsibilities seriously when they know their efforts are being monitored and valued.

Cohesion and Teamwork: Announcements promote a sense of unity and teamwork among employees. They understand that they are part of a collective effort, which can lead to better collaboration and a more positive workplace culture.

Subject: Upcoming Research with DORIS

Hello,

We’re excited to announce a big step in planning for our workspace's future. As you may know, project details.  This will create a  deeper understanding of space/behaviors, hybrid needs, etc. something like that. We want to make this transition as intentionally as possible, so we have engaged a research firm called DORIS to help us get the most out of our future space.

There is an enormous amount of work to do, and we will need your help. You have been selected to engage with DORIS over the next several months to provide your input and ideas. Your active participation in this research project is crucial. Your voice matters; we can make the best decisions when we hear from you!

Throughout this process, you can participate in these engagements:

  • A 30-minute Kickoff Meeting to understand who DORIS is, the purpose of this project, and how you will participate.
  • A 30-minute one-on-one dialogue with a DORIS researcher to discuss your work and any current challenges to avoid in the future.
  • A 90-minute Ideation and Prototyping Workshop to generate and test ideas for our future office.

To get started, join a Kickoff Meeting the week of July 24th to meet the DORIS team and learn more about this project. Meetings are virtual and last just 30 minutes. Several options are available throughout the week; choose the one that best fits your schedule.
