Conduct individual synthesis

Purpose

To identify patterns from data analysis, create thematic insights, and synthesize findings into key challenge categories through individual reflection and documentation.

Directions

1. Create a Google doc in the Challenge Defining folder for the project to document your individual synthesis. 

2. Review your MAXQDA codes and take notes in your new document that 

3. Address the following synthesis questions:

   • What seems like the biggest challenge?

   • What are some other top challenges people experience?

   • How do the challenges impact individuals?

   • How do the challenges impact teams or the organization?

   • Who experiences these challenges?

   • Are there differences in experience by job level, department, or other demographic information?
     

4. Paste supporting data in the form of quotes and quantified themes. 

5. Organize sections by importance/saturation

6. Complete your individual synthesis document before the Synthesis meeting and be prepared to discuss your findings.
