Create Analysis Strategy

Purpose

The strategy initiates the analysis/synthesis part of the DORIS process The purpose of the meeting is to define:

  1. Timeline: How long, and how many hours we have to complete analysis.
  2. Roles: Who will do what portions of the analysis.
  3. Next Steps - Schedule the Synthesis Meeting, which solidifies the deadline for completing individual analysis.

Responsible Party

Lead Project Strategist

Interdependencies

Data Collection has concluded.

Directions

The Lead Project Strategist is responsible for creating the strategy and communicating next steps to the Ops Team. This can be done via slack or with a meeting if needed. This meeting can be scheduled as soon as data collection has ended or is about to end.

  1. The LPS determines the best strategy moving forward and will decide how to best communicate that to the Ops Team. If the strategy is shared via slack we can always answer any questions in an Ops check-in meeting. We can also schedule a meeting to specifically address the A/S strategy.

  2. Questions to answer:

      • When does analysis need to be done? (Analysis ends at the start of the Synthesis Meeting)
      • How much time should be spent? (Considering hours left, general project load, priorities, availability, etc)
      • Who is doing what? (Even for small data sets, it important to get 2 sets of eyes on any given set)
      • Which methods/tools will be used? (Maxqda, Sheets, Mural, etc)
    • Outcomes:
      • Schedule the Synthesis Meeting
      • Define roles, methods, and next steps with teamĀ
