How Might We... Ideation
Purpose
Prompt participants to generate a large number of ideas
This method requires some research to be completed in advance in order to frame the questions effectively.

Prep
- Craft How Might We... questions that respond to the challenges
- Print the questions on banners
Execute
- There are multiple ways to facilitate participants through generating ideas. Common practices include:
- Break the group into three (assuming there are three questions) and give them three minutes with each question, rotating and repeating the process until every group responds to all questions.
- Display each question to the entire group and have each individual write their ideas on paper or sticky notes.
- Conduct a round robin by passing worksheets with the questions on them.

- Take photos of all ideas and/or collect all worksheets.
