Would You Rather...
Purpose:
- Explore personal preferences
- Illustrate the diversity of preferences in the group
Participants: Groups of any size
Supplies: Number paddles (or determine a way for people to indicate 1 or 2 without paddles)
How to lead it:
-
Give each participant a paddle.
-
Explain that we're playing a game of "Would you rather..." about topics in our study context.
- We know it's a false binary, and that's on purpose. You will have to choose.
-
Present each pair of choices.
-
Document the number of participants that choose each option for each pairing.
Example pairings:
more quiet or a more dynamic environment?
clear separation between work zones or a more blended environment?
public recognition or private praise?
scheduled check-ins with leaders or informal, as-needed conversations?
written communication or verbal communication?
