Purpose

Storyboards convey an idea by illustrating how people interact. They employ storytelling techniques to explain a solution.

This method is useful when solutions hinge on user behaviors.

Instructions

Prep
  1. Facilitate people through Prototype Planning
Execute
  1. Give participants the storyboard template, images, writing utensils, scissors, and tap.
  2. Present an example to help participants understand the expectations.
  3. Check on groups throughout the 10-15 minutes and answer questions or prompt them if they hesitate.
Document
  1. Collect storyboards and photograph or scan them.
  2. Record audio of the prototype presentation.
