Purpose

Narrow down a large number of ideas by allowing individuals to explain their preferences.

Instructions

Prep
  1. Conduct an ideation method
    • Most commonly, dot voting is used to vote on ideas represented on sticky notes.
Execute
  1. Hand out worksheets
  2. Tell participants which criteria or constraints to keep in mind.
  3. Invite each participant to select two ideas they like that meet the criteria and complete the worksheet with the idea and why they selected it.
Document
  1. Collect completed worksheets.
