Kickoff Meetings
Kickoff Meetings are the participant introduction to the project. The goals of the Kickoff Meeting are to 1) get participants comfortable with the DORIS process and 2) get participants to sign up for an interview.*

Confirm Kickoff Meeting logistics
- The Operations Manager confirms the logistics for the Kickoff meetings with the liaison.
- The logistics can be confirmed as soon as the project has sold.
- Upon confirmation, add details for the Kickoff Meeting(s) to the Project Charter, Ops Logistics, and send a calendar invitation (or ensure the client invites the project lead).

Prepare protocol and materials for Kickoff Meetings
- The Project Strategist creates the agenda and tools for the Kickoff Meetings.
- Open template from the link in the "Tools + Supplies"
- Copy, Save As with the project name
- If the Kickoff will be held onsite, print and pack any supplies needed. If the Kickoff will be virtual, ensure the digital tools are accessible for participants.

Conduct Kickoff Meetings
- The Project Strategist hosts one or more Kickoff Meetings.
- Each Kickoff Meeting is 30 minutes long and is usually held digitally via Zoom.

Update participant attendance
On the participant master sheet, indicate who attended the Kickoff meeting(s). This counts towards our total number of people engaged in the project, which is reported in our deliverables.
